Dr Vormwald is a highly experienced senior clinical psychologist with 15 years of service in a range of mental health settings. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Dr Vormwald is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care, and to supporting her patients to better understand themselves. At MMH, she offers Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments.

Treatment Philosophy
Dr Vormwald believes in a holistic, collaborative, patient-centred approach to all aspects of clinical care. She strives to create an affirming space for clients where they feel seen, heard, respected, and where they might gain optimism for their capacity to build the life they want for themselves.
Career Experience
Dr Vormwald completed her psychology training at The Alfred psychiatric inpatient unit and Austin Hospital outpatient clinic. She also worked in a high acuity residential facility in London for children and adolescents with eating disorders.
Dr Vormwald has been in private practice for over a decade. She has also consulted at the Melbourne Children’s Court Clinic providing assessments and reports for the criminal division. She is passionate about the assessment work she does, as it enables her to utilise her professional skills more fully and provides a nice balance to treatment work.
