Dr Pierre Wibawa is a neuropsychiatrist who has trained in Australia and New Zealand. He graduated in medicine from the University of Otago in 2011. He is a lecturer and clinical researcher who has published widely and is involved in clinical drug trials for dementia and neurometabolic disease.
Dr Wibawa is passionate about understanding the neurological, cognitive, psychiatric, social and personal facets of mental illness. He incorporates his expertise in assessing and managing common and rare neuropsychiatric diseases to provide personalised treatment and develop collaborative understanding.

Dr Wibawa has over 10 years of psychiatry training in the areas of neuropsychiatry, consultation-liaison, dementia, neurodevelopmental disability and general psychiatry. He has worked in prestigious centres, including Wellington Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Neurosciences Unit in Perth, and Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Health in Melbourne. He currently works at Royal Melbourne Hospital Neurosciences Research and Monash Health. He is a lecturer with collaborative research roles at University of Melbourne and Monash University. He is a native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia.
